Our grantees
Since 1990, together with over ten thousand donors, we have awarded $28 million to 700+ nonprofits. Our grantee partners include well-known institutions, as well as many groups whose work, while sometimes less visible, has incredible impact. Spread across dozens of funds, our programs address a wide range of LGBTQ+ issues, from caring for aging adults and eliminating HIV to ending homelessness and improving mental health.

Capacity Building for Grantees
Stonewall Community Foundation is a part of the New York City Capacity Building Collaborative, a group of social justice foundations that collectively pool resources to build the capacity of grassroots community-based organizations. Current Stonewall grantees are eligible to participate in Collaborative-sponsored workshops and skills-based trainings. You can learn more about the Collaborative and upcoming offerings here.
