This summer, Pines Party celebrated a milestone 25th anniversary. Throughout these nearly three decades, Pines Party has established itself as so much more than an unforgettable weekend of celebration; it's also a long-running fundraiser that's invested more than $1.5 million in Stonewall's work!

In February of this year, Nex Benedict, a 16-year-old nonbinary high schooler in Oklahoma, tragically died after a violent altercation. For one Stonewall staffer who hails from Oklahoma, this tragedy hit close to home. With their support, Stonewall sprung into action to address the resource needs of a grieving community.

Since 2022, we’ve partnered with Aritzia to offer the Aritzia Scholarship at Stonewall. This scholarship supports LGBTQ students working in fashion design, retail management, mental health, or social justice. We’re proud to share the stories of the most recent Aritzia scholars.

The Stonewall Community Foundation community is still grieving the loss of our board member, mentor, and friend, Cecilia Gentili. We're doing our best to honor her prolific legacy by fueling the work Cecilia believed in.
