A Summer to Remember

The Iconic House of Miyake-Mugler wows the crowd at the 2026 Vision Awards on Thursday, June 18 at Tribeca Rooftop

This summer, Stonewall Community Foundation was busy! From celebrating LGBTQ+ changemakers to dancing on the beach, supporting the next generation of leaders, and bringing people together, we spent the season doing what we do best: building power through community.

Here’s a look back at a few of the moments that made our summer one to remember.

Celebrating impact at the Vision Awards

On June 18, nearly 500 of Stonewall’s closest supporters gathered at Tribeca Rooftop for our annual Vision Awards gala. Together, we celebrated some of the extraordinary people and organizations helping shape a more just and joyful future for LGBTQ+ people, and raised a record-breaking $550,000 to fuel Stonewall’s critical grantmaking programs.

This year’s honorees included Cristina Herrera, founder of TransLatinx Network and powerhouse community organizer; Amida Care, the nonprofit community health plan leading the fight against HIV; Allan Baum, Executive Producer of Pines Party and longtime movement funder; and Ralph Lauren, a global luxury lifestyle brand and champion of belonging and equity. In a difficult moment for LGBTQ+ people across the country, the evening was a powerful reminder of our community’s brilliance, resilience, and collective strength.

Making waves at Pines Party

Pines Party 2026 welcomed thousands of revelers to Fire Island for another legendary celebration benefitting Stonewall’s work

Then we headed to Fire Island for Pines Party 2026, where Stonewall was once again the beneficiary of this iconic LGBTQ+ celebration. We twirled, danced, and soaked up the sun, all while celebrating the incredible impact of this community-powered event.

Since 1999, Pines Party has raised more than $1.5 million for Stonewall, helping fuel our work to strengthen LGBTQ+ communities across New York City and beyond. Read more about the party’s fascinating history here.

Investing in the next generation

This summer, we also significantly expanded our scholarship programs, more than doubling the number of scholarships awarded and reaching more LGBTQ+ students than ever before. By investing in students today, we’re helping build the next generation of LGBTQ+ leaders, changemakers, and community builders. Learn more about our scholarships here.

And speaking of the next generation…

Building community with Stonewall Quarter Share

Our Stonewall Quarter Share program continued to bring emerging LGBTQ+ leaders together throughout the summer. Designed to inspire a spirit of philanthropy and foster meaningful community among the next generation of leaders, Quarter Share hosts monthly gatherings across NYC.

One summer highlight was our annual Pride Drag Brunch, which brought nearly 100 members together for food, fabulousness, and a little philanthropy.

From the ballroom to the beach, this summer was a shining example of what happens when our community comes together to celebrate and build. And we’re just getting started.
