Bingo Uprising: Totally 80s edition!
Why are some of Stonewall’s biggest fans yelling “BRICK!” in Zoom Chats?
Come celebrate the music of the 1980s as drag diva Charmagne Aültra hosts the latest edition of Bingo Uprising on April 10th and find out!
Started in June 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic required us to rethink fundraising around our annual Pride events, Bingo Uprising has been bringing people together for a celebration of music and community ever since. Whether at our digital bi-monthly theme parties, or with our friends at American Express, Slack, Mekanism, or Fidelis, Stonewall’s Bingo Uprising parties have been getting more and more popular.
In addition to Charmagne Aültra, the event features the request-driven sounds of DJ Jemma Nigh, the hip alter-ego of Stonewall board member Mary Bognanno, as well as board member Trish Chobrda, and Stonewall team member Michael Barret Jones. The four of them keep the party going over Zoom and the energy up through four rounds of the game.
Join the team on April 10th for Bingo Uprising: Totally 80s by getting your tickets , spraying your hair high, and grabbing your neon jellies! If you’d like information about bringing the Stonewall Bingo Party to your guests or employees, email Michael.
All proceeds benefit Stonewall’s community programs.
