Community Funding Opportunities

  • North Star Fund is currently accepting applications for community organizing groups in New York City. Their application deadline is Friday, February 14 at 5pm. You can see if you meet their eligibility criteria and apply here.

  • Brooklyn Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for Brooklyn Get Out the Count grants, for organizations doing census outreach in hard-to-count communities in Brooklyn. Applications are due Friday, February 14 by 11:59pm. Learn more and apply here.

  • The Trans Justice Funding Project is currently accepting applications from grassroots organizations led by and for trans folks. The application is available in English and Spanish. Applications are due Saturday, February 15 by midnight. You can learn more and apply here

  • Ms. Foundation for Women is launching The Activist Collaboration Fund to strengthen social justice movements for women and girls of color, trans women and girls of color, and indigenous women and girls.   • Destination Tomorrow's TRANScend Community Impact Fund, supported by Gilead Sciences, addresses the disproportionate impact of HIV within Transgender communities. Applications are due Friday, March 6 at 5pm. You can learn more and apply here.
